Crime is an old social phenomenon that accompanied the process of urbanization witnessed by Algerian society, similar to other societies, as well as the population increase and the social and economic problems that cities suffer from, especially the major ones, , and the fluctuations in living conditions and the resulting needs of individuals made them resort to crime to satisfy their needs, and to fill the living deficit And compensate for the social difference in the level of life, and crime has become one of the means to achieve this purpose, , the abnormal behavior and the individual's lack of adaptation to the urban society and the civilized environment led him to committing crime in all its forms and by all methods, where we find the surrounding circumstances affect reality of crime and the offender.
