To realize - the international community - the difficulty of achieving environmental protection and achieving development within the territorial borders of countries, the importance of moving attention to the environment to another stage has emerged that is embodied in the provision of international and global legal and institutional frameworks.

This study aims to highlight the importance of the International Criminal Court's intervention in the field of addressing environmental crimes, since the latter is no less dangerous than the rest of the crimes that have previously entered the court's jurisdiction by stipulating them in the statute.

As we reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The intervention of the International Criminal Court in the field of addressing environmental crimes represents a positive expansion of its jurisdiction.
