The role of the inflectional formula in building the Arabic lexiconThe lexical industry is based on two important pillars: plural and position, through which it is possible to identify the mechanisms of forming any lexicon, whether it is linguistic or specialized, and whether it is general or directed to a specific category.

Since the main goal in each lexicon is to clarify the meanings of the lexical units from which its entries are formed, this study will stand on the morphological formula in determining the meanings of the singular, considering the morphological structure as one of the components of the lexical unit in addition to the phonemic and semantic components.

What is the role of these formulas in forming semantics and building lexical units?
