Abstract EN

Interpretive basis, selected by any interpreter to understand the divine words, refers to the intellectual infrastructure for interpretation based on which, the interpreter chooses his interpretive method.

in other words, the presupposition of every interpreter to interpret the holy Qur'an is what he considers and accepts ; then, based on it, he selects the method of interpretation.

one of the interpretive bases is to deem the Qur'an as holy or divine ; i.e.

the words of the holy Qur'an have all been revealed by god almighty, and the person of the prophet (as) has not mandated any seizure or manipulation in it.

accordingly, this research has been conducted by descriptive-analytical method and by examining some of Wahbah Zuhayli's views in Tafsir al-Muneer Fi al-Aqeedah, Shari'a and al-Monhaj, which presents seven reasons in two parts and concludes that the interpretive basis of the holy / divine nature of the Qur'an has been accepted by Zuhayli and he has believed in it.
