Abstract EN

"Linguistics of the text" is a relatively modern term in linguistic and literary studies.

it is a term that appeared in the mid-1960 s in front of the term "linguistics of the sentence", where it focused on this belief that the highest and strongest linguistic unit is not the “sentence” but the “text”.

in other words, what is studied in text processing is not the sentence but the text.

cohesion and cohesion is the main focus of textual studies, as there are images and manifestations of this cohesion, including grammatical cohesion, semantic coherence, lexical coherence and phonological coherence.

this research deals with, within the descriptive-analytical approach and based on the text-oriented theory, to the study of phonological cohesion in Surat “al-Qaf” and in its commas specifically.

because the consistency found in the sounds usually appears at the end of the verses.

we studied what led to the phonemic coherence in the intervals of this surah, such as shifting in deletion, shifting in forwarding and delaying, and we also studied the main outcome of this coherence, which is the harmonious phonemic rhythm.

on the other hand, we studied the repetition and its rhythmic coherence in all the breaks of surah "al-Qaf".

finally, the measure of the lyrics were dealt with, and most of the lyrics were based on the measure of “Faela'n” at the Waqf and “Faela'ton” at the Wasl.
