Abstract EN

The current study aimed to study the psychometric properties of the cognitive distortion scale in the Algerian environment, and to extract performance criteria that enable us to interpret the results of the raw scores for individuals.

To achieve this goal, the original version of the scale was acquired, then the study sample was selected.

which consisted of 300 individuals, including (198) females and 102 males, who were randomly selected from different regions of the country, and to ensure the stability of the scale, internal consistency, lateral comparison, half-segmentation method and coefficient(Cronbach's alpha) were used.

The results of the study showed that the scale has high psychometric properties.
