The current study aimed to reveal the relationship of shyness with self-esteem among fourth-year pupils average, and to identify the differences in shyness and self-esteem in terms of sex among fourth-year pupils average Tizi Ouzou province.

The sample of the study reached 135 male and female students from the intermediate education in the academic year 2019/2020, and the study revealed that: - There is a positive relationship and statistically significant between the degrees of shyness and the degrees of self-esteem among students in the fourth year average.

Fourth year average in shy.

- The presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and the average scores of females for fourth year students, average in self-esteem.
