Russian foreign policy towards the Middle East has undergone strategic shifts, considering that this region has always been the preserve of American influence.

These transformations have become evident after the Russian army's military intervention in Syria.

Through this paper, the researcher tries to reveal the most important determinants of Russian foreign policy and its strategic interests in the Middle East, and the most important roles it plays and the nature of relations practiced by this country with regional powers in the region such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Israel, and the real motives and goals The Russian intervention in the Syrian crisis and its relationship to the strategic competition in the region with the United States and the European Union, and its repercussions on the Middle East region in general and on the Syrian crisis in particular, in addition to the future of confrontation between Russia and the United States of America in several regions, similar to the crises experienced by countries bordering Russia such as Georgia Ukraine and Crimea.
