National human rights institutions are of great importance in the national and international human rights system.

Nationally, they are in direct contact with various human rights issues and strive for their determination and protection within the framework of the laws of the state party, and internationally through participation in various international bodies and mechanisms for the protection of human rights.

In order to maintain this international position, it must comply with the model principles, namely the "Paris Principles", through the so-called accreditation mechanism, whether in category "A", which is required, or category "B" as a transitional stage.

In the midst of this, the World Federation of National Human Rights Institutions works, through its subcommittee, to approve the institutions that meet the required conditions in accordance with the Paris Principles, or postpone the accreditation when the conditions are not met.
