English Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the degree of servant leadership among the managers of the Latin Patriarchate schools in Jordan and the relationship of that with the perceived organizational support among teachers.

In order to achieve the study objectives, the researcher developed a questionnaire with two parts; the first part measured the servant leadership and consisted of ( 30 ) items distributed to four domains ,the second part was dedicated for organizational support, and was divided into two domains; their validity and reliability were verified.

The questionnaire was applied to a sample that consisted of ( 339 ) male and female teachers from those teaching at the Latin Patriarchate schools in Jordan.

The results showed that the degree of employing the servant leadership among the managers of the Latin Patriarchate schools in Jordan and the degree of organization support among teachers were high from the perspective of teachers.

The results also revealed that there is a positive correlation relationship between the degree of servant leadership among the school managers and the degree of the perceived organization support among teachers.

The results showed that there are statistically significant differences regarding the degree of servant leadership and the degree of perceived organizational support due to the variable of gender in favor of the female teachers.

The results also revealed that there are statistically significant differences regarding the degree of servant leadership and the degree of perceived organizational support due to the variable of educational qualification in favor of bachelor degree or less, while the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences regarding the degree of servant leadership and the degree of perceived organizational support due to the variable of years of experience.

The results showed that there are differences regarding the degree of servant leadership and the degree of perceived organizational support between the mean responses of the study sample individuals from the south, middle regions in favor of the south region.

In the light of the results, the study recommended urging the school managers of the Latin Patriarchate schools in Jordan to increase the organizational and financial support to teachers.
