Pragmatism, an empirical theory of knowledge, belief, and active truth, which is an authentic North American product, has been associated with the material and moral success achieved by the United States of America at the national and global levels, and was helped in this success by liberal ideology, in addition to idealistic, sensual, religious, experimental, intuitive and Darwinian mental currents.

The real value of pragmatism lies in the substance of belief and its effect, which is a permanent readiness to conduct, act, and act according to what this belief dictates.

Hence, this study attempts to highlight the importance of the pragmatic philosophy in American foreign decision-making, and to define the American vision of the world, given that the truth is not objective and olute, but rather a tool for adapting to the international environment, through the practical effects it generates.
