English Abstract

The study aimed to study the Personality traits and sourse of stressor among traffic policemen, the study population( 2682 )was applied to the study sample that consisted ( 223 ) in a Regular random sample distributed among ( 21 ) females and ( 202 ) males.

The Personality traits tool consisted of 39 items and the sourse of stressor tool which consisted of 38 items,The results of the study indicated that there are significant differences in the degree of stress in the policemen for the Sex.

The value of ( t )-( -2.803 ) for females, it was found that are no significant differences in the Personality traits ( responsibility emotional, Social control ) among the policemen in amman for the Acadimic qualification, and it was also found that there are no significant differences in the social attribute where the value of ( P ) – ( 1.085 ) While there are differences in the Personality traits ( responsibility emotional, Social control ) of the policemen in the Amman for the rank.
