Arabic Abstract
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف صعوبات القراءة التي تواجه طلبة الصف التاسع في اللغة الإنجليزية و كيفية التعامل معهم من وجهة نظر المعلمين في مديرية تربية لواء المزار الجنوبي لتحقيق اهداف الدراسة، تم تطوير استبانة لاستقصاء صعوبات قراءة الطلاب في اللغة الإنجليزية، حيث تم التحقق من صدقها و ثباتها.
تكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 100 ) معلم و معلمة في مديرية تربية لواء المزار.
كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تصورات معلمي و معلمات اللغة الإنجليزية على وجه الخصوص يعزى لمتغير الخبرة العملية، حيث أن قيمة ( F ) قد بلغت ( 5.78 )، و التي تعد ذات دلالة إحصائية عند ( a0.05 ).
في حین گشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الدرجات الإجمالية لمدركات معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية فيما يتعلق بصعوبات القراءة التي يواجهها طلبة الصف التاسع بسبب متغير الجنس حيث أن قيمة ( T ) قد بلغت ( 0.17 ) وهي قيمة لیست ذات دلالة إحصائية على مستوى ( a≥0.05 ) في ضوء نتائج الدراسة، تم اقتراح العديد من التوصيات، منها : - ينبغي إجراء مزيد من الأبحاث لدراسة صعوبات القراءة باللغة الإنجليزية من منظور الطلاب و أولياء أمورهم، بالإضافة إلى ضرورة توفير المدارس مع المرافق التعليمية المطلوبة.
English Abstract
This study aimed to identify the reading difficulties face the ninth-grade students in English language and how to deal with these difficulties from the perspective of teachers in the Southern Al- Mazar Directorate of Education.
To achieve the study obectives, a self-completed questionaire was developed to investigate the students' difficulties in English language reading and its validity and reliabilty were verified.
The sample of the study was comprised of (100) female and male teachers in Almazar Directorate of Education.
The findings of the study indicated statistically significant differenceson the English language teachers' perspectives in particular and these differences are attributed to the variable of years of experience, where the (F) value reached (5.78), which is a statistically significance at (≤0.05), however, there were no statistically significant differences between the total scores of the English teachers perspectives related to the reading difficulties faced by the ninth graders that are attributed to the variable of gender where (T) value reached 0.17, which is not statistically significant at the level of )α≤0.05).
In light of the results of the study, several recommendations were suggested, among which were: Further research should be conducted to study the reading difficulties in English from students and their parents' perspective in addition to the necessity of providing schools with the required teaching facilities.
