The problem of waste is one of the most important problems that countries face in the contemporary environment, which is considered to have a direct negative impact on environmental deterioration..

With this in mind, Algeria has initiated a specific waste management policy, particularly solid, within the framework of the municipal plan for the management of household and similar waste, and this is stated in Law N° 01-19 relating to management and control and their elimination; and Law N° 03-10 relating to the protection of the environment in the context of sustainable development.
