دراسة قياسية لأثر الاستثمار العام على العمالة في الجزائر خلال الفترة 1990-2020

Abstract EN

Unemployment is one of the most common problems that most countries of the word suffer from, especially the developing ones, in order to eliminate this phenomenon, effective strategies must be developed that contribute to creating jobs.

Public investment, especially in the economic sector, is one of the most important strategies that contribute to alleviating the problem of unemployment and raising the level of employment.

Therefore this research paper aims to highlight the impact of public investment on employment in Algeria durig the period 1990-2020, where as a standard approach was used using the ARDL methodology, and the public investment represent the explanatory variable in the model, and employment is the dependent variable.

The results showed that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between public investment and employment, there is also a positive significant relationship between them.
