This article studied the evaluation of the quality assurance for higher education in Algerian university institutions, And that's by looking at the contributions of the quality assurance system in Improving the quality of pedagogical and academic practice, especially the quality of programs and the quality of the supervisors, as well as what is related to scientific research laboratories; the quality assurance system has Has contributed in the process of building an effective logistical and digital system Effective on organizational and communication matters, but this path has faced many difficulties related to the issue of the general nature of the Algerian university and the culture of resistance to change among the actors in higher education institutions.
