Abstract EN

The study seeks to understand the relationship between social intelligence and mental health among students of the department of social sciences at Saida university-Algeria-, and to answer a set of questions related to its entirety in knowing the level of social intelligence among students of the department of social sciences at Saida university, and studying the differences of social intelligence among students of the department of social sciences in terms of gender, and the relationship between social intelligence and mental health in students of the social sciences, and to test the hypotheses of this study, a questionnaire of mental health and intelligence was applied to a sample made up of 71 students from the department of social sciences at the university of Saida; after the data were statistically processed, the results of the study showed a relationship between mental health and social intelligence, since the feeling of satisfaction and happiness of the individual leads to psychological compatibility and is reflected on the mental health of the individual, and the lack of differences in social intelligence among students of the faculty of social sciences in terms of gender / specialty.
