حاولنا في هذا المقال، اكتشاف إسهام القاضي الجرجاني (ت 399هـ) في الدرس النقدي العربي القديم، من خلال مؤلفه الموسوم بـــ "الوساطة بين المتنبي و خصومه"؛ حيث تبين لنا أنه ناقش أهم القضايا النقدية التي عرفها النقد العربي القديم، مثل: "السرقات الشعرية، و الغموض، و التكلف، و قضية الطبع و الصنعة، و علاقة الشعر بالدين.

و أهم ما توصل إليه البحث، أن صاحب "الوساطة" استطاع أن يعرض لأغلب القضايا النقدية التي طرحها النقاد حتى عصره، كما حاول الانتصار لأبي الطيب المتنبي على خصومه، و هو الهدف الأصلي من تأليف الكتاب

From this article we tried to discover the participations of Kadi Eljurdjani (399 d.
c ) in the ancient Arabian criticism through his book " the intermediation with El Motanabi and his adversaries " when he discuss the most important critical issues in the ancient arabian criticism such as: the poetry stealing, ambiguities, mannerism, and the relation between religion and poetry.
The owner of " Elwassata " book can introduce all the problems in the Arabic poem as he tried to get victory for " El Motanabi " and this is the aim of this book.
