Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the level of knowledge of the basic grades male and femel teachers of the students with learning disabilities.

The study sample consisted of a descriptive sample (n=103) male and female teachers who were chosen randomly.

In order to achieve the study objective, the descriptive were used.

A scale was developed regarding the level of basic students male and female teachers' knowledge of the students with learning difficulties; its validity and reliability indicators were verified.

The results revealed that the level of knowledge of male and female teachers of the basic grades of the students with learning disabilities in the district of Petra from their perspective was low.

The results revealed that there are no statistically significant differences regarding the level of the basic grade male and female teachers' knowledgeof the students with learning disabilities attributed to the variables of (gender, educational qualification, years of experience, the grade he/ she is teaching).

In the light of results, the study recommended the necessity of applying the tstudy in larger scales and in different geographical areas in Jordan
