Abstract EN

The research aimed a major goal which is to reveal the features of the mind of Ibn_al-Muqaffa and al-Jahiz through their writings.

it is based on the thematic method and its basic principle (the ego, the relationship with the world, and the imagination), as well as and comparative method as a scientific tool for study and comparison.

the research paper has covered several topics, including: the relationship of literature to philosophy, the mind in human thought, and the manifestations of the mind in both al-Jahiz and ibn al-Muqaffa.

the research was concluded with a study that balances the features of mind in each of them.

among the most prominent results of the research are the common features between ibn al-Muqaffa and al-Jahiz and features that al-Jahiz were unique to in literature.

it can be said that the existence of the conclusion of the research comes to confirm that (the mind) is a clear topic, but rather to explore its features, manifestations, and intellectual and practical values affecting the literature of ibn al-Muqaffa, the wise man of letters, and al-Jahiz, the literary philosopher.
