Abstract EN

The attempt to establish a modern Western poetics goes back to the development of Western criticism in the twentieth century through the texts of the Russian formalists, and in what was known in the new Anglo-Saxon criticism in America and England, and in the structural analysis that, since the sixties, it began to develop in France.

Based on the importance of poetry in Literary Studies - Modern and Contemporary, we tried through this article to trace its caracteristics among the pioneer of western critical and modern course according to the analytical and descriptive approach, we conclude that poetry knew an importance and development until it theoretically became an esoteric and approach that interest in the characteristics that make the Literary discourse different from the other types.

La tentative d'établir une poésie occidentale moderne remonte au développement de la critique occidentale au vingtième siècle à travers les textes des formalistes russes, ainsi ce qu'a connu la critique anglo-saxonne en Amérique et en Angleterre, et dans l'analyse structurelle qui a commencé à se développer en France depuis les années 60.

En se basant sur l'importance de la poésie dans les études littéraires et critiques, modernes et contemporaines, nous avons tenté dans cet article, de retracer ses caractéristiques chez les pionniers du cours sur la critique occidentale moderne selon une approche descriptive et analytique.

On a conclu enfin, que la poésie a connu un développement et une importance jusqu'à ce qu'elle est théoriquement devenu une approche approfondie et ite, qui a pour objet d'étude les caractéristiques qui régissent le discours littéraire et le rendre different des autres types du discours.
