Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to investigate the level of critical thinking skills of the third secondary school students.

the work was carried out on a sample of 200 male and female students from the two divisions of experimental sciences, literature and philosophy.

to achieve the aim of the research, we used the Watson and Glaser test for critical thinking, a sufficient square test for good fit, and a t-test for two independent samples.

the results showed that there was no difference in the level of critical thinking skills depending on the gender variable, and the results also indicated that there was a difference in the level of critical thinking skills and this for benefit of the student’s experimental science.
