Abstract EN

This study aims to know the most important components of the family structure and to reveal the internal and functional structure of the family that reflects its true image.

the research employed the descriptive analytical method, and completed the work on a cross sample of 100 husbands and wives.

the results revealed that husbands and wives' awareness of their roles in family duties and responsibilities is based on interaction based on communication, dialogue, support and participation in raising children, in addition to psychological and emotional closeness, which contributed to the consolidation of the relationship in order to maintain the stability of the family as the most important institution in society.
