The level of health perceptions among teachers of physical education and sports for the secondary stage: a field study in the central province of Algeria

The purpose of the study is to investigate the level of health perceptions of teachers of physical education and sports in the secondary stage.

to achieve the objective of the study, the descriptive approach was applied, and the health perceptions scale was used as a tool for data collection on a random sample of (100) teachers for the 2020-2021 school season.

data have been processed by means of percentages and arithmetic averages.

the results revealed that the level of health perceptions of physical education teachers was low.

the study concluded by presenting a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to reconsider the training programs that are related to health sciences, as well as the need to adopt the philosophy of continuous training and periodic training courses for teachers of physical education and sports.
