This study aims to clarify the penal policy of the legislator by amending the Penal Code by introducing a ninth chapter entitled compromising the integrity of exams and competitions, as through this Law No.

20-06 the policy of the legislator was transformed from administrative punishment to penal punishment.

The legislator has dealt with the issue of cheating in exams and competitions within three crimes, including the misdemeanors of publishing or leaking, as well as substituting for the candidate, and the felony of cheating that leads to the total or partial cancellation of the exam or competition, in addition to limiting the place of these crimes to final exams only, as well as everything related to higher education and training competitions and national professional competitions, this law also highlights the original and complementary penalties.
