This research aims to follow Ibn Hisham's methodology in inferring grammatical rules.

it is certain that he was not an innovation of the ancient grammarians who took strong evidence from these rational and textual foundations to prove or deny these rules, but rather he followed their method without agreeing with them in everything they went to.

he disagreed with them in many cases; such as his adoption of the noble Qur'an as the first source for listening before the poetic witness, and his authorization of the various Qur’anic readings without commenting or refuting them, and his expansion in citing the honorable prophetic hadith in contrast to the advanced grammarians, and his unleashing of citations for poems that are unknown and out of the time of protest.
