Displacement is a stylistic technique that studies literary texts what is meant by abstaining from the usual in the use of language and to choice of structures according to special criteria.

therefore, we see the Arab poet resorting to this technique, which has a great aesthetic role in enriching his text and drawing the attention of the recipient.

al-Jawahiri had used this technique in his famous poem "ATBIQ DUJAA", in which he deals with the Arab political and social reality mocked by the unfair authorities.

in this article, we sought, through the descriptive-analytical approach, to study the phenomenon of displacement at the rhythmic, semantic, and structural levels in this poem.

the stylistics as a whole played a great role in creating the literary displacement, which added to the poem an atmosphere of rhythm, ingenuity, and certainty, which increased its artistic aesthetic and its uplifting excitement.
