Our study follows the writing itinerary of Algerian French-speaking authors in order to retrace the aesthetic development of their literary texts; more precisely the fiction genre.
a journey that says a lot about the elements that have marked the trajectory of the novel influenced by several determining factors, whether historical or social.
we will limit this literary panorama, from the appearance of the first writings of the settlers; at the beginning of the French conquest, to those of Algerian authors from the colonial school.
this observation will highlight the importance of the novel as a witness to Algerian history and society, with its narrative aspects.

Notre étude reprend l'itinéraire de l'écriture des auteurs algériens d'expression française, afin de retracer le cheminement esthétique de leurs textes littéraires, plus précisément le genre romanesque.
un parcours qui dit long sur les éléments qui ont marqué la trajectoire du roman influencé par plusieurs facteurs déterminants qu'ils soient historique ou social.
nous limiterons ce panorama littéraire allant de l'apparition des premiers écrits des colons au commencement de la conquête française, jusqu'à ceux des auteurs algériens, issus de l'école coloniale.
un constat qui soulignera, ainsi, l'importance du roman comme écrit témoin de l'histoire et de la société algériennes, doté de ses aspects narratoires.
