The simplified joint stock company is one of the latest forms of commercial companies in our time, and Algeria is among the list of countries that have adopted this type of commercial company as one of the legal forms available in the field of investment, especially for start-ups in the first place.

The focus of the Algerian legislator, despite its delay, towards establishing a new type of commercial company comes as an embodiment of conforming the economic reforms decided by the state with its approved political and economic tendencies, which aims to establish principles of transparency to improve the business climate, thanks to the modernization of the rules related to commercial companies in a manner that establishes transparency in their governance and dealing with the complex procedures by trying to make it simple and flexible.
