Abstract EN

This paper discusses the relationship between financial integration and economic growth in the MENA region countries, given that these countries imposed financial restrictions before the programs of structural adjustment.

We proceed by an econometric estimate on the whole region on a period of 1990-2020 using multiple regressions.

We found that an increase in the commercial opening rate, which was the result of financial liberalization, had a positive correlation with economic growth, also we have found that the flow of Gross fixed capital formation in the studied countries have a negative impact on the economic growth in the MENA region.
