The traditional method of concluding a contract is based on the free negotiation of its terms between the two parties, but the increased activity in commercial life has led to a considerable increase in transactions, which required the realization of the greatest number of possible transactions in a short time and with a minimum effort, and from there emerged the system of contracts using standard forms.

despite the advantages of standard contracts, they have many risks ; such as signing without knowledge of its provisions, as well as unfair terms against the weak party in the contractual relationship.

four Arab civil codes made reference to the model contract system : Libya, Sudan, Kuwait and Qatar.

the research focuses on the analysis and discussion of the texts contained in these codes, as well as in certain judicial decisions, with the aim of developing a legal framework for this contractual system.
