it is natural for theoretical reflection to be limited, and its signs have not appeared until in recent decades.

but this literary genre, which flourished in Arab culture in the 19th century, received wide critical and theoretical attention.

is it possible to talk about the Arabic novel along the lines of the novel theory in western culture? .
