Abstract EN

This research sheds light on the Algerian communist party’s interpretation of the idea of the revolution and its attitude on it when it broke out.

and it also tries to give it with a historical reading that explains and analyzes the nature of that attitude.

it also gives the historical facts and reasons which formed that position.

tracking this issue allowed us to identify several historical facts about this party’s position on the revolution, perhaps which is that this party, given its composition, ideology, and relation with abroad, especially the French communist party, was not able to take a positive attitude from the revolution.

in addition, ambiguity, contradiction, remained among the most prominent features that characterized the position of this party, not only on the revolution, but on the national issue as a whole since its founding in 1936.
