Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the prevailing administrative behavior in the Jordanian Olympic sports federations, as well as the differences in leadership behavior according to the specialization of the president federation, educational qualification and type of sports federation variables.

in order to achieve this, the researchers used the descriptive approach on a sample consisting of (91) members of the boards of Olympic sports federations.

the researchers used the Google forms web tool to collect the study data, which consisted in its final form of (30) items related to leadership behavior.

to process the study data, the researcher used frequencies, means, standard deviations, multiple analysis of variance, Scheffe test.

also, the study results have shown that the presidents of Olympic sports federations apply dictatorial behavior with a high degree and an average of (3.67), and with a medium degree for democratic and transformational behavior, and an average of (3.22, 2.86), respectively.

there were also statistically significant differences in dictatorial behavior depending on the specialization of the president variable and in favor of the low specialization, but in the areas of democratic and transformational behavior, there were statistically significant differences according to the academic qualification variable and in favor of the doctoral degree.
