Abstract EN

The study highlighted the timing of waqf in Islamic jurisprudence and waqf laws in the United Arab Emirates.

The study was divided into three sections preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion including the most important results and recommendations.

The main concern in this research is the timing of waqf and its rulings in Islamic jurisprudence compared to Waqf law in UAE.

The study is based on the inductive method of collecting scientific material from the jurisprudence books to reach an inclusive judgment using the analytical method needed to reach an appropriate ruling.

The study confirmed the permissibility of waqf that is specified by a defined time, the impermissibility of interrupted timing, the permissibility of unending waqf concerning mosques and cemeteries, as well as the permissibility of the perpetual and temporary waqf in the UAE law.
