Abstract EN

This research sheds light on Imam Abu Dawood’s attention to Hadith sciences focused on Al-Sanad and Al-Matn.

It brings together many tricky issues with crammed relationships in his book “Al-Sunan”.

It also compiles these dispersed rules of Hadith, studies them, analyzes them, and considers their applications by Abu Dawood.

The researcher adopted the inductive method by thoroughly looking into “Al-Sunan” to collect the relevant statements of Abu Dawood.

The analytical method was also used in studying, scrutinizing, and extracting the opinion of Abu Dawood.

One of the most important results of the research is that Abu Dawood contributed to rooting the rules of the term Hadith that are common between Al-Sanad and Al- Matn.
