يناقش محتوى المقال قضية راهنة ارتبطت بالدور المرتقب للشباب في ظل موجة التغيير التي تجتاح البيئة العربية، حيث شهدت الفترة التي تلت اندلاع الثورات العربية تزايد الدور السياسي للشباب، تماشيا مع ازدياد موقعه على الخريطة الديمغرافية العربية، و التشكيك في قدر الحكومات على التعامل مع حاجات هذه الفئة و استيعاب أحلامها.
وقد تصاعد اهتمام النظم العربية الحاكمة بشأن تمكين الشباب، و تبوئهم الشأن العام، بعد اندلاع ثورات الربيع العربي، و اختلفت الرؤية الحاكمة لهذا الاهتمام من بلاد عربية لأخرى، بين استيعاب مطالب الشباب و طموحه مع إبطاء حدتها بحيث تتوافق مع الخط العام الذي يتبعه النظام، مقابل التحذير من خطورة التغيير غير المحسوب من جهة و التفطن لتكلفة القمع الأمني غير المجدي سياسيا و لا مجتمعيا، في ظل انفتاح الشباب على استخدام الفضاء الإلكتروني، ما يعني رفع وعيهم بما يحدث حولهم، و زيادة إدراكهم لوحدة المشاكل الشبابية عبر العالم
Abstract EN
The content of the article discusses a curent issue related to the expected role of youth in light of the change taking place in the arab region, where the political role of youth has increased due to its position on the demographic map, in exchange for doubts about the ability of governments to accomodate the aspirations of this category.
The arab regimes interest in empowering young people increased after the outbreak of the arab spring revolution, as it differed from one arab country to another, between acommodating their demands while reducing their intensity while warning of the danger of ill-considered change, with attention to the youths openness to cyberspace and their awareness of the unity of youth problems across the world.
