The current article highlights the pivotal role of sounds in teaching languages generally and teaching Arabic specially.

the phonetic component has gained a clear area of importance in the field of language education for linguists, ancient and modern.

to demonstrate this, we dealt with the concept of language teaching and phonemic reference in teaching methods.

then, we moved on to the features of teaching sounds in the ancient Arab heritage, especially among the scholars of recitting whom had a special interest in the performative aspect of the acoustic-educational approach, which is a pillar foundation and a strong reference for the service teaching the Arabic language.
