The Arab economic bloc is presented as a reality produced by the system of global economic blocs in the context of globalization, although the idea of Arab economic integration is considered relatively old compared to the recent economic blocs, this study aims to show the role of Arab economic integration as a mechanism for improving and activating the Arab-European partnership, this is through an evaluation of the Arab and European experiences in economic integration and a comparison between them, and an explanation of the causes of failure and the ingredients for success.

the study concluded the following results: despite the importance of the economic components for the success of any integration, political will plays a major role in the success and continuation of any economic integration.

the Arab countries’possession of natural resources, in addition to the wide market and strategic geographic location, is a catalyst for Arab economic integration
