Abstract EN

The research discusses the issue of Identity and Cultural Diversity in Pluralistic Societies, and the research problem lies in the nature of the identity issue that is employed ideologically, intellectually and politically, resulting in a state of conflict and societal conflict, or a state of balance and stability.

The research also seeks to address conceptual approaches in the literature of social and political thought, and to explain the social components of sub-politics of a pluralistic character.

The research concluded that identity is the privacy that distinguishes a human group from others, such as coexistence, belief, language, history and a common destiny, and that cultural diversity requires achieving unity and integration by transforming a multicultural society into a homogeneous society, and dealing with the element of human security.

In addition, political pluralism is a necessary requirement for recognizing the principle of continuous intellectual dialogue, the plurality of forces and political opinions of ethnic groups, and their right to coexist, express themselves, and participate in influencing political decision-making.
