This article aims to study the problem of climate changes in the Mediterranean region, and their adverse repercussions on the social, economic, and political structures in the region.

is also delves into the most outstanding joint efforts of the region's countries in face of this fenomenon's dangerous effects.

by using the inductive method basically and the content analysis also in order to know the details of the different reports and the Mediterranean's refferencial documents concerns the climate changes in the region.

the analysis shows that the climate and environmental issues are still not widely addressed despite their gravity.

apparently, the traditional concerns like security, terrorism and economy, and so on are still the first and foremost priority for the region's countries.

this said it is high time that climate and environmental issues moved to heart of the joint policies of the region's governments.
