The Algerian legislator has devoted child protection as a matter of urgency, by stipulating cases in which the judge of urgency may issue temporary measures that achieve child protection, these cases include what is stipulated in the family law and some of them are stipulated in the civil and administrative procedures law including what is stipulated in the child protection law.

the urgent applications judge adopts a mechanism to protect the child in the event of urgency, which consists, first, in rulings on petitions, which are considered as temporary rulings issued without the presence of the litigants and without deciding on the subject of the dispute, and secondly, urgent rulings that are temporary orders that do not affect the origin of the right but are in force with immediate effect and temporary measures that are measures of delivery and status.
