Abstract EN

The poetry column theory is considered as a control of the poetic industry, since it appeared in the Abbasid era till now it was a criterion in classifying poets and distinguishing their ability to compose.

from here the theory became one of the central Arab critics cases whose make it the basics that poets should depend on it so as not to deviate from the artistic style that their ancestors followed, and took it as a basis for measuring the updated poetry styles on what was the style of poetry.

based on that, this research tackled the theory of poetry column from the beginning of its establishment and its accomplishment to the late ages after the Abbasid era, where it was developed and taken a great critical effort from researchers, critics and poets for the creative process in poetry systems.
