In his scientific career, Abd al-Rahman al-Hajj Saleh - may God have mercy on him - was interested in the subject of language teaching and the impact of linguistic control on it.

By publishing a number of research papers and articles; In the seventies he wrote an article tagged with: “The Impact of Linguistics in Upgrading the Level of Arabic Language Teachers, ” in which he sheds light on the various phases of speech by analyzing the linguistic material, and showing the grammatical and transformational structures in order for the student to acquire the faculty of language through practice, that is, the ability to produce proper expression.

Through experimentation and practice, and in another article in which he talked about (scientific analysis of texts between stylistics, semantics and Arabic rhetoric), which is a research on the levels of significance and the aesthetics of the literary formulation of the language, it helps the student greatly to understand the suggestive nature of literary speech and its complex rhetorical structure.

On the “science of teaching languages” in general, and how research spread in Europe, and what laboratory equipment should be used to distinguish linguistic sounds, and he also referred to the research presented by the Institute of Linguistics, which he personally supervised, in addition to the efforts of Another feat he has done in the field of education.
