Abstract EN

This study aims evaluate the impact of flow to foreign direct investment coming to Algeria during in the period 2008-2018 on external balance, by analyzing evolution of this investment flow and balance of payment, to prove or disprove this effect, we relied on relationship of co-integration between the two variables using the eviews10.this study concluded no short or long term effect of foreign investments coming to Algeria in the development or to retreat of the balance of payments, and that's because the absence of economic diversity in Algeria and the instability of foreign investment laws.

and a number of suggestions were made, the most important of which are: put of strategic plans to make the sectors outside the hydrocarbon sector more attracive for the foreign investor, with the guidance of foreign investment laws to serve the business environment and the most stimulating and protection for foreign direct investment.
