The Islamic Maghreb region knew the presence of large numbers of Jews in its demographic composition, and this appears through the calamities that were mentioned in the book “the standard for the sign of the Wansharisi,” which amounted to thirty-seven (37) calamities included in the study.

these calamities included clear references to the reality of the Jews in the Islamic Maghreb and what is related to their social life, economic activities and religious practices; in view of the great importance of the calamities in historical studies, we relied on models of the calamities of the "criterion" and dealt with them with explanation, analysis and extrapolation of texts in order to know some facts that remained untouched by scholars.
