This paper aims at studying the general concept of multiculturalism theory that has widely occupied the international community’s mind.

on one hand, it seeks to deal with the intellectual discussions and debates that the theory has raised between various trends.

to do so, the research tackles the theory’s principals from diverse perspectives.

on other hand, it exposes the theory’s content through shedding light on different concepts that stemmed i.

e its focused issues.

the study illustrates, also, the different problematics and questions that the theory poses, and shows the accusations and the criticism which it faces.

the overall aim is then to try to give a clear picture of the theory.
