Abstract EN
China took measures to reduce the local currency (RMB) in order to encourage exports and make imports more expensive, which the united states met by imposing tariffs in order to raise the value of Chinese goods and considered it a manipulative country according to American standards, which led to a trade war between the two countries.
and we reached results, including the increase in intra-regional trade between the two countries between 2005-2019 and the increase in Chinese exports due to the depreciation of the yuan, the mortgage crisis 2008 also affected intra-trade positively.
The U.S trade policies (imposing tariffs on Chinese goods) have also affected Chinese imports negatively.
