yet, many disputes arise from such electronic transactions, in particular international trade consumer contracts, which require the creation of efficient means of settlement that corresponds with the nature of the disputes arising from this type of contracts.

these improvements help investing in centers specialized in electronic settlements that rely on a variety of mechanisms for settling disputes, namely: electronic negotiation, electronic mediation and electronic arbitration.

the latter focuses on the principle of self-enforcement of rulings based on the idea that electronic settlement centers work on driving the losing party to implement its decision without resorting to national jurisdiction.
