Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the role of electronic payment in promoting financial inclusion, by examining a pioneering experience in the field of electronic payment, represented in the Kingdom of Sweden, and the attempt to benefit from that in Algeria, despite the different nature of the two societies and the different degree of banking culture between them, it is possible to draw inspiration from successful experiences.

The descriptive analytical approach was used, the study concluded that electronic payment effectively contributes to enhancing financial inclusion, through the index of owning accounts, which is considered one of the most important indicators, which makes us suggest that Algeria benefit from this experience, especially in light of its suffering from phenomenon of parallel economy.
